Yesterday’s Cleaner becomes Owner of Three buses

Chhindwara: There was a time when Namdev Khandate of village Sanwgi in Saunsar tahsil of Chhindwara district used to earn less than Rs. 2 thousand per month. Namdev who used to work as cleaner is now owner of three buses.
This became possible through self-employment scheme of Madhya Pradesh Tribal Finance and Development Corporation. Namdev purchased a mini bus by obtaining loan worth Rs. 5 lakh 96 thousand 28 from the corporation, following which he entered the list of the village’s distinguished persons. Namdev, who used to work for others once, now provides jobs to others. As many as 9 persons are working with him as drivers, conductors and helpers. Due to his positive mindset, Namdev also does not forget to deposit monthly instalment of Rs. 11 thousand 534.
