Shashi Ruia Calls on CM

Shashi Ruia, Chairman of the blue-chip Essar Group, called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today. The meeting, at which several aspects of the Singrauli Thermal Power Plant were discussed, was attended by a battery of top administrative officers including Chief Secretary Rakesh Sahni.
The Essar Group – arguably the largest independent producer of power in the country – is in the process of establishing a 2×600 megawatt thermal power project in the Singrauli district of the state.
The Chief Minister stressed on the need for the speedy completion of the project.
