Yuvraj had said- father has mental problem: Old video of former cricketer goes viral, Yograj had accused Dhoni and Kapil
After the controversial statement of former Team India cricketer Yograj Singh, an old video of Yuvraj Singh is going viral on social media. In this, he is talking about his father Yograj Singh’s mental issue. Two days ago, Yograj had made a statement on a YouTube channel about former Indian captain Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni.
2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh said in a YouTube podcast – My father has a mental problem, but he will not accept that he needs therapy to treat it. I think there is something he needs to pay attention to. Just like I accept that I need therapy for my illness. It is something that you cannot change.
Yograj had said- I will never forgive Dhoni
Yograj, who played one Test and 6 ODIs for India, told YouTube channel Zee Switch two days ago- I will never forgive Dhoni in my life. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a great cricketer, but what he has done against my son is coming out.
They can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life, first I have never forgiven anyone who has done wrong to me and second, I have never hugged them in my life, whether they are my family members or my children.
Yuvraj has 13 trophies and you have only one World Cup – Yograj
Yograj Singh also spoke about 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev in the same interview. He claimed that his relationship with Kapil Dev has been strained ever since he was dropped from the Indian team in 1981. Yograj believes that Kapil dropped him from the team considering him as his rival.
Yograj Singh said, ‘In life, I want to show people what is Yograj, the thing that you have brought down. Today the whole world is under my feet, salutes me and those people who had done very bad things…some have cancer, someone’s house has broken and someone does not even have a son. You know who I am talking about…he is your greatest captain of all time Mr. Kapil Dev, I had told him that I will make such a mess that the world will spit on you. Today Yuvraj Singh has 13 trophies and you have only one World Cup.’
Yograj has lashed out at Dhoni many times before
This is not the first time Yograj has targeted Dhoni. Earlier this year, the 66-year-old former cricketer had claimed that Chennai Super Kings lost IPL-2024 due to Dhoni’s bad deeds. He also accused Dhoni of being jealous of Yuvraj.
Yograj had said- ‘CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? You reap what you sow. Yuvraj Singh is the ambassador of ICC, salute to him! Arrogant Dhoni, where is he? He did not even shake hands with Yuvraj and that is why CSK failed this year.’
Dhoni can play IPL as an uncapped player
Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. It is not yet clear whether the 43-year-old wicketkeeper batsman Dhoni will play with Chennai Super Kings or not. Some media reports had revealed that CSK is persuading BCCI to play him as an uncapped player.
