OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition to be the most expensive OnePlus phone yet, hints latest leak

OnePlus is ready to take centre stage yet again merely two weeks after it launched the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus TV in India. The company, in its announcement post of the upcoming launch, wrote, “We are just getting started” and we don’t doubt that at all. The year 2019 kicked off with the launches of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro which received rave reviews across the industry. However, the company is famous for launching a mid-year upgrade with a “T” suffix and this year we will be seeing the OnePlus 7T Pro.

What makes today’s launch event exciting is the fact that McLaren and OnePlus are teaming up once again and this means that the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is also likely to launch alongside the OnePlus 7T Pro today. The OnePlus 7T series launch event will take place at the Magazine London Theater in London today at 16:00 BST or 20:30 IST.

Ahead of the launch, popular phone tipster Ishan Agarwal has tweeted out price details of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition claiming that the new edition will be the most expensive phone from the house of OnePlus. According to the leaked details, the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will be priced at EUR 849 to EUR 859 (which if translates to roughly Rs 66,000- 67,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. However, it’s worth pointing out that mere calculating price based on currency exchange value isn’t the right way, and there might be some difference between the European pricing and the Indian pricing.

To recall, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition launched in India back in December at Rs 50,999.
