Stock market at all-time high for the third consecutive day: Sensex touched 84,881 and Nifty touched 25,925, metal and auto shares rose

The stock market has made a new all-time high for the third consecutive trading day today i.e. on 23 September. During trading today, the Sensex touched 84,881 and the Nifty touched 25,925.

Currently, Sensex is trading at 84,700 with a gain of more than 100 points. Nifty is also up by more than 50 points, it is trading at 25,850. Auto, metal and banking stocks are up.

Vodafone-Idea shares rise 8%

Vodafone-Idea’s stock is up 8% today. Vodafone-Idea has signed a deal worth $3.6 billion (Rs 30,000 crore) with Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung for the supply of 4G and 5G network equipment over three years.

Asian markets rise today

  • Asian markets are on a rise today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index has gained 0.63% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index has also gained 0.72%. Korea’s Kospi has gained 0.17%.
  • On September 20, the Dow Jones of the US market closed at 42,063, up 0.09%. The Nasdaq fell 0.36% to 17,948 and the S&P 500 closed at 5,702, down 0.19%.

Manba Finance’s IPO will open from today

Manba Finance Limited’s Initial Public Offering i.e. IPO will open today (23 September). Investors will be able to bid for this IPO till 25 September. The company’s shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 30 September.

The market had made an all-time high on Friday. Earlier on Friday, September 20, the Sensex had made a new all-time high of 84,694 and the Nifty of 25,849. After the day’s trading, the Sensex closed at 84,544 with a gain of 1359 points. At the same time, Nifty rose by 375 points, it closed at 25,790.
