CM launches ‘Super Compost Manure’

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday launched the high-quality ‘Super Compost Manure’, produced from the cow dung procured under the Godhan Nyay Yojana in gauthans.

Farmers can get this super compost fertilizer from cooperative societies at a discounted rate in bags of 2 kg, 5 kg and 30 kg. Its minimum value is Rs 6/ kg.

Along with vermi compost, the cow dung procured is also utilized to produce super compost manure in the Gauthans, an official communication said. Baghel also transferred a dividend amount of Rs 3.06 crores to gauthan committees and women self-help groups.

The Godhan Nyaya Yojana was launched on July 20, 2020 to promote livestock conservation and organic farming and to provide additional income sources for villagers, livestock farmers and farmers.
