Life’s goal can be achieved through education: Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said the goal of life can be achieved only through education. It provides a positive direction. It is a proud moment where the meritorious are felicitated for their efforts.

He was virtually addressing the felicitation programme under Swami Atmanand Meritorious Students Encouragement Scheme from his official office cum residence.

The 159 students in Merit List of Class 10 and 12 of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for 2019 and 2020 including meritorious students from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups were felicitated.

They were given medals and citations. Those in Merit List also got Rs 1.50 lakh.

Interacting with the students, the Chief Minister urged them to prove their mettle in science, arts, culture, administration and other sectors.

He advised them to remain amid good people and in corporate ethics in their life.

School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam said 28 students from the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups scored the highest marks in Board examinations.
