Cong to march Raj Bhawan over alleged phone tapping

Following a nationwide call, the Chhattisgarh Congress will march to Raj Bhawan here on Thursday to protest against the alleged telephone tapping of 300 Indians including politicians and journalists.

PCC Communication Wing head Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said the march will be to demand the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and a probe under the supervision of the Supreme Court. The protest will start from the party’s state headquarters.

According to media reports, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, other opposition leaders, some cabinet ministers and journalists were among 300 Indians whose phones were targeted by an official Indian client of an Israeli surveillance technology vendor.
