Chief Minister pays tributes to late Verma by reaching his home town
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Dhamanda, the home village of late hero Jitendra Kumar Verma of Sehore district and expressed condolences and shouldered the body of martyr Verma. Chouhan also saluted in honour of the martyr by laying a wreath on the mortal remains. People’s representatives and villagers, including Chouhan, paid homage to martyr Jitendra with moist eyes.
Chouhan said that martyr Jitendra Verma was a brave son of Mother India, who was the best sniper who could exterminate the enemy by aiming even in the dark. Entire Madhya Pradesh including Sehore district is proud that such a great hero lived with General Bipin Rawat, a symbol of bravery of the army.
The Chief Minister said that I bow to the parents and family of martyr Jitendra Verma. This family is our family. On behalf of eight and a half crore people of Madhya Pradesh, I bow at the feet of Amar Shaheed Jitendra Kumar Verma.
Chouhan said that in the helicopter crash that took place on December 8 in Tamil Nadu, Jitendra Kumar Verma of Sehore district, along with CDS Bipin Rawat ji, also died untimely among 13 persons. An honour fund of one crore rupees will be given to the family of martyr Jitendra ji. The name of the village school will be after the martyr. Government service will be given to the wife of the martyr. A memorial will be built to keep the memory of the martyr intact. Arrangements will also be made for the education of the children of martyr Jitendra.
The Chief Minister met the parents and the wife of late Jitendra Verma and expressed his condolences. In-charge of Sehore district and Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Prabhuram Choudhary, MP Ramakant Bhargava, senior army officers, administrative officers and thousands of general public paid homage to martyr Jitendra Verma.
