C’garh to procure cow urine: Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday announced his government will buy cow urine from livestock owners in the state.

He made the announcement at a press conference at Rajpur in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. 

He said the cow urine purchased by the state government will be refined and used to make medicines. This will provide women and villagers an additional source of income.

Baghel had earlier called for an action plan for using cow urine in agriculture.

Cow urine also has good fertilizer value and can be used as an alternative to toxic chemicals in agriculture.
