Gold and silver prices rose this week: Gold rose by Rs 1,547 to Rs 75,640, silver was being sold at Rs 91,448 per kg

This week, there has been a rise in the prices of gold and silver. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), last Saturday, i.e. on September 21, gold was at Rs 74,093, which has now reached Rs 75,640 per 10 grams (September 28). That is, its price has increased by Rs 1,547 this week.

Talking about silver, it was at Rs 88,917 last Saturday, which has now reached Rs 91,448 per kg. This week its price has increased by Rs 2,531. This year silver reached its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg on 29 May.

Gold price in 4 metro cities and Bhopal

  • Delhi: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,100 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,550.
  • Mumbai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,400.
  • Kolkata: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,400.
  • Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,400.
  • Bhopal: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,000 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,450.

According to IBJA, so far this year, the price of gold has risen by Rs 12,288. On January 1, the price of gold was Rs 63,352, which has now reached Rs 75,640 per 10 grams. On the other hand, the price of one kg silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 91,448.

Gold can reach up to 78 thousand by the end of the year. According to Anuj Gupta, Commodity and Currency Head of HDFC Securities, gold and silver can see an increase in the coming days. This year gold can reach up to 78 thousand rupees per 10 grams. Silver can also reach up to 1 lakh rupees per kilogram.
