Yadav Impetus on Bundelkhand Pays Rich Dividends

The outlay is expected to create 28000 opportunities for youth in the region

Bhopal

A strong impetus placed on the development of Bundelkhand by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is beginning to pay rich dividends with investors promising an outlay of 23000 crores for the region.

The Madhya Pradesh government has already received investment proposals for the amount at the recently concluded Investor Summit at Sagar.

The outlay is expected to create nearly 28000 jobs for the region which has remained distant from industrial growth after agriculture suffered due to a significant shift in rainfall patterns.

Not long ago, the rural poor in the region were forced to live in abject poverty as the culturally rich region suffered successive draughts.

All that is expected to change soon, as the chief minister has proved that his Bundelkhand outreach will be backed by actions of his government.

The chief minister, within less than a year of his government, made extensive tours to interact with captains of industry and invited them to participate in regional.investot summits.

This groundwork has paid off well for Madhya Pradesh with investors placing confidence in the chief minister’s vision for the future.

Major proposals include a ₹3,200 crore integrated steel plant in Niwari district by Pacific Industries and a 100 megawatt solar plant worth ₹1,350 crore by the Bansal Group.

The Bhopal-based Bansal Group will also establish four super-speciality hospitals and a five-star hotel in the region.
