Shah said- How will Congress make the country drug free: Its workers are involved in drug business; Cocaine worth Rs 5600 crore was found in Delhi
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works of Mansa Nagar Palika in Gandhinagar district of Gujarat. During this program, Shah said that drugs worth Rs 5,600 crore were seized in Delhi two days ago. The main accused in this, Tushar Goyal, was the president of the RTI cell of Delhi Pradesh Congress.

Shah said – Drugs worth Rs 8500 crores were seized in Gujarat in 3 years. Home Minister Shah said that before Narendra Modi came to power, the Congress had drowned the entire North India including Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir, Haryana, Delhi in the drug trade. The Modi government has dealt a severe blow to this trade by seizing 36 times more drugs. In Gujarat, the BJP government of the state has seized drugs worth Rs 8500 crores in just 3 years.
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police seized 560 kg of cocaine from Mehrauli on October 2. Its main accused Tushar Goyal has been the chairman of the RTI cell of Delhi Pradesh Congress in 2022. The accused’s social media profile also has RTI Cell Chairman, Delhi Pradesh Congress written on it.
The accused has created a profile on social media in the name of Dikki Goyal. Photos of mastermind Tushar Goyal with many Congress leaders have also surfaced. This has been revealed during interrogation by Delhi Police Special Cell. Tushar Goyal himself has revealed during interrogation by the Special Cell that he was the RTI cell chief of Congress Delhi in 2022.
So far, in this case, apart from Tushar Goyal, Himanshu Kumar, Aurangzeb Siddiqui, Bharat Jain and Jitendra Pal have been arrested.
Delhi Police is running Operation ‘Kavach’ against drugs
228 kg of ganja seized on 30 September : For the last several days, Delhi Police has been running Operation ‘Kavach’ to catch drug suppliers. On 30 September, Delhi Crime Branch busted an international drug cartel, in which 228 kg of ganja was seized. Its price in the international market was estimated to be around Rs 1.14 crore. Two suppliers of this cartel were also arrested.
6 kg cocaine was seized on 27 July : On 27 July, Delhi Police arrested a German citizen from Delhi Airport with 6 kg grade-A cocaine. The price of this cocaine in the international market was said to be Rs 12 crore. The name of the accused was Ashok Kumar.
