Madhya Pradesh’s schemes inspired by Ekatma Manav-vad: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government is putting into practice Ekatma Manav-vad concept of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Explaining Ekatma Manav-vad, Shri Chouhan said that development schemes giving happiness to body, mind and soul and strengthening them have been implemented in all the areas. He informed that campaign to free Narmada River from pollution will be launched on Narmada Jayanti. A grand temple will be constructed at Amarkantak. Foundation stone of Cow Sanctuary will be laid in Shajapur on December 24. Traditional craftspersons will be imparted modern training with a view to development villages as self-reliant units. For this, Shilpi Panchayat will be organised. Shri Chouhan was delivering his address on the subject “Golden Madhya Pradesh as per principles of Ekatma Manav-vad” at the annual function of Shri Dattopant Thengadi Research Institute at Ravindra Bhavan here today.
Paying tributes to Shri Dattopant Thengadi, Shri Chouhan described him as all-time source of inspiration. Referring to relevance of concept of Antyodaya and practical shape of Ekatma Manav-vad, the Chief Minister said that welfare schemes have been chalked out for welfare of all the sections of society in Madhya Pradesh. Attention has been paid to socio-economic and spiritual upliftment in these schemes. He informed that Free Medicine Distribution Scheme will be launched on November 17 and foundation of Narmada-Kshipra Link Project will be laid on November 29. Besides, Yuva Panchayat will be held on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on January 12, 2013. Shri Chouhan said that schemes have been chalked out for all including boys, girls, youths, women and senior citizens. The State Government has chalked out strict laws to curb corruption and taken strict action. The property confiscated in Indore will be used for running hostel of tribal students.
RSS Sar Karyavah Shri Suresh Soni praised late Shri Dattopant Thengadi’s personality, ideology and deeds. He said that the State Government has chalked out schemes drawing inspiration from the late Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Ekatma Manav-vad and late Shri Dattopant Thengadi’s ideologies. This is a laudable initiative. He said that spirit of “My Country” and “My State” should be generated by every citizen. He said that ideology is always global, but its implementation should be made at local level. He said that people’s way of understanding things change as their problems increase. He said that in democracy, administrative machinery should be responsive to people. Prosperity can be achieved only through cooperation between government, administration and people.
The Chief Minister honoured noted journalist Shri Muzaffar Hussain. In his address, Shri Hussain described late Shri Thengadi as Swadeshi Sant and a visionary for future.
On the occasion, winners of Rangoli and Mehandi competition organised by the Research Institute were honoured.
