Air India ground all Boeing Dreamliner with immediate effect
New Delhi: A day after Japan’s two biggest airlines grounded all their Dreamliners in the most serious blow, Air India on Thursday, following the advice of DGCA also decided to ground all six Dreamliners with immediate effect due to the safety hazards.
Meanwhile, US federal agency has also asked its airlines to ground all Boeing 787, popularly known Dreamliner.
The US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) conducted an investigation of an in-flight Boeing 787 battery incident in Japan on Wednesday, which posed a question on a potential battery fire risk in the 787.
