TIMESNOW POLL SHOWS 31% VOTE FOR SHIVRAJ SINGH, 28% FOR BJP
The Timesnow opinion poll on Thursday revealed that 31 per cent would vote Shivraj Singh to form Government in the ensuing Assembly elections, while 28 per cent would vote for his political party (BJP).
The development works would be the base of voting for 18 per cent, 4 per cent would cast their vote based on caste. Pro woman policies found place as 5 per cent would vote for favouring these policies.
For farmer welfare and schemes for poor, 3 per cent would vote. In the opinion poll, 5 per cent opted to BJP as it has formed Government at the Centre.
The poll also came out with the outcome that the image of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is magnificent and for around a decade votes are given in the name of Shivraj Singh over the BJP.
For achievements in infrastructure, 34 per cent would vote for Shivraj led Government. For social welfare schemes, 51 per cent chose to vote for Shivraj Government.
In the survey, 15 per cent liked to vote for Government for infrastructure and social development.
Reasons which came to fore in the survey regarding choice of every one was decency, simplicity and common man like figure of Shivraj Singh and 31 per cent would vote for these reasons.
The continuous and direct communication with the masses is an important factor and 71 per cent would vote for Shivraj Singh for this reason. People have also liked Shivraj Singh for making Social upliftment as pivot of development.
Mama factor would garner 7 per cent votes in his favor, 13 per cent for well wisher of woman, 7 per cent for farmer and poor welfare, 5 per cent for noble deed to work.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been CM for 4515 days and gained popularity among masses for his decent and simple style.
It is possible that the people are little angry but even after 15 years they do not want to go with Congress as 32 percent believe that Congress lacks leader with mass appeal like Shivraj Singh, 15 percent remember the difficult days during Digvijay’s regime, 8 percent believe that factionalism in Congress is responsible for their poor performance.
