Sonam-Anand wedding festivities kick-off with mehendi ceremony
Mumbai: Sonam Kappor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding has the town abuzz with excitement. The much-in-love couple is all set to tie the knot in Mumbai on May 8. The wedding festivities kick-started on Sunday, May 6, at the Kapoor residence.
We have been waiting with bated breath to know what bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor and grrom-to-be Anand Ahuja will wear for the wedding festivities.
We finally have photos from their mehendi ceremony and the adorable couple was twinning in pink.
The pretty bride-to-be opted for a pink and pale lilac sharara suit for her mehendi function.
Her dupatta has gold work on the edges, keeping it simple yet elegant. The embroidery was embellished with beads and zardosi work. The wide-legged pants in lilac have gold threadwork with beads.
The outfit has a heavy gold brocade border, with threadwork in gold, and heavy, gold details on the edge.
A pair of statement earrings and minimal make-up completed Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi look.
Sonam’s husband-to-be Anand was twinning with his fiancee, in a pink bandhgala kurta. He had a lilac handkerchief tucked in his breast pocket.
He paired the kurta with cream coloured churidar.
The couple looked very much in love, and totally absorbed in the festivities of their big, fat Punjabi wedding.
