Salman Khan confirms he is doing a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 11 years

Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali worked together in hit films such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Khamoshi. Recently, reports of the actor collaborating with the director after 11 long years had surfaced recently. Salman was quizzed about the same at the launch of his popular television show Bigg Boss 12 and the actor looked surprised. He said, “Yes, I am doing Sanjay’s film.”

He also jokingly added, “I don’t know much about it. Have only heard a one-liner about it. But Sanjay is not answering my calls. Please ask him to speak to me.”

Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s project is reportedly titled Inshallah. According to a Times of India report, Bhansali might work on the script as long as nine months before work on the film begins. The makers may release the film for Eid 2020.

Salman also collaborated with Bhansali on Saawariya, which marked the debut of Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. Inshallah will be an exciting and much expected collaboration from Bollywood.

Salman Khan is currently working on Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial Bharat, which also stars actor Katrina Kaif as the female lead. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, on the other hand, directed one of the biggest hits of 2018 starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone titled Padmaavat.
