MP polls: PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s posters defaced in Bhopal ahead of mega rally

Bhopal: Ahead of BJP’s mega election campaign, BJP posters with the faces of BJP president Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as well as other leaders of the BJP were defaced. The posters were defaced on Monday night, ahead of the rally where BJP’s top leaders will address top workers.

PM Modi is set to address the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ (grand assembly of party workers), during his visit to Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal as the state is nearing Assembly polls. The event is being held to mark the birth anniversary of Hindutva icon and Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS) co-founder Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

The event will be held at Jambooree Maidan in the BHEL locality. It may also be the “world’s largest congregation of political workers,” as per the state BJP spokesman Sarvesh Tiwari. As per reports, over 13 lakh people are expected to be present at the rally. “Looking forward to interacting with the hardworking karyakartas of BJP Madhya Pradesh at the Karyakarta Mahakumbh in Bhopal today,” PM Modi tweeted.
