Rohit Shetty reacts to rumours of a tiff with Shah Rukh Khan

Rohit Shetty is currently riding high on the success of his latest cop-flick ‘Simmba’, starring Ranveer Singh. The film that was an out-and-out entertainer, went on to break several records at the box office. This, in turn, was a big win for the director, who last helmed the film ‘Dilwale’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Despite the ensemble cast, the film failed to perform well at the box office.

For various reasons, rumours of a tiff between the director and his leading man, SRK began doing the rounds. Although Rohit repeatedly denied these reports, they refused to die down. Setting the record straight once and for all, the director came on record to deny claims of any animosity between them.

In a recent interview, Shetty revealed that the technical aspects of his film were handled by Shah Rukh’s production house where they were also working on ‘Zero’. He went on to reason that if there ever was any bad blood between the two, he would not have worked with him
