Samsung Galaxy A70 launched in India at Rs 28,990; to come with a 6.7-inch display and 4500mAh battery
After announcing the Galaxy A70 in the global market, Samsung has now launched the phone in India. The sixth device in Samsung’s Galaxy A line-up, Galaxy A70, has been launched at a price of Rs 28,990 and will go up for pre-bookings between April 20 and April 30.
The device will start shipping to buyers starting May 1 and will be available for sale in three colours — White, Blue and Black across brick and mortar retail stores, Samsung e-Shop and Samsung Opera House. Galaxy A70 will also be available on Flipkart.

Samsung has also bundled a few offers with the device, one of which is the Samsung U Flex bundle. The company has revealed that users who pre-book the device can purchase the Samsung U Flex — the South Korean tech giant’s premium Bluetooth headset which has been Rs 3,799 for Rs 999 only.
Samsung Galaxy A70 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Infinity-U display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core 675 SoC welded with 6GB / 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
For optics, there is a triple rear camera module consisting of a 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 lens, 8-megapixel ultra wide secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0.
Galaxy A70 also features Samsung’s intelligent Scene Optimizer which analyses a scene across 20 modes and adjusts the colour, contrast and brightness to instantly optimize image quality. For Selfie buffs, there is a 32MP front camera that allows them to express and connect in fun ways using features like AR-Emoji and Selfie-Focus. Additionally, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4500mAh battery capacity with 25W fast-charging technology. The Galaxy A70 is also the first Galaxy A series phone to bring with it with Samsung Pay which enables consumers to carry their wallet on their phone and pay almost everywhere securely.
Speaking at the launch, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung India, Ranjivjit Singh said, “Our recently launched Galaxy A line has seen unprecedented success since its launch.
