Deepika Padukone poses as Malti in a purple suit; gets clicked with the enitre team

Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak has been in the headlines for quite some time now and fans have been eagerly waiting for updates from the Meghna Gulzar directorial. The film is based on the life of acid attack victim Laxmi Agarwal and her inspiring story. While the makers earlier released the look of Malti (character based on Laxmi), a video showcasing Deepika dressed as a school girl too made rounds on the internet.

Along with Deepika, Chhapaak will also star Vikrant Massey and recently the makers of the film wrapped up the Delhi shoot schedule of the film. A picture of the team getting clicked in Delhi after the wrap-up, surfaced on the internet today. Featuring Deepika, Vikrant, Meghna and the crew, take a look at the photo below:

During Deepika’s shoot schedule in Delhi, the actress was snapped dressed as a school girl and in another video, she was seen taking an auto ride. Another video went viral yesterday from the sets of Chhapaak where the actress stood on the edge of a terrace and locked lips with her co-star Vikrant.Meanwhile, Vikrant will be seen essaying the role of Deepika’s love interest in the film. In an interview, the actor said that working with Deepika was not an opportunity but responsibility for him.

Chhapaak is slated for a January 10 release next year.
