PM Narendra Modi to address press conference on April 26, his first in five years
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a press conference on April 26, Friday, the day when he will file his nomination from Varanasi for the Lok Sabha elections. The media interaction is slated to take place at Hotel Taj Ganges in Varanasi at around 12:30 pm, shortly after the prime minister files his nomination. Notably, this is the first press conference that PM Modi will be addressing in his entire tenure of five years.
Throughout his tenure, Prime Minister Modi has given interviews to several media houses. However, he has never interacted with reporters in set-up of a press conference, for which the opposition has always attacked the Prime Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
