Ananya Panday just made an honest confession about her feelings for Kartik Aaryan
Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan made headlines after the two were spotted on a dinner date last year. Since then, the love triangle between Ananya, Kartik and Sara Ali Khan has been constantly in the news. Both Sara and Ananya had revealed on Koffee With Karan 6 that they find Kartik Aaryan cute. In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Ananya insisted that she is just 20 and it is only normal for her to have a crush on someone.
“I’m 20 and it’s normal to have a crush on someone. I’m open about my feelings. Yes, I find Kartik cute and I’m lucky I’ve got a chance to work with him,” Ananya Panday said. Set to make her Bollywood debut in Student of the Year 2 with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, Ananya has also been signed for her second film – Pati Patni Aur Woh, which stars Kartik Aaryan as the male lead alongside Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
The film is a remake of the 1978 classic of the same title which starred Sanjeev Kumar, Ranjeeta Kaur and Vidya Sinha. Meanwhile, Sara and Kartik are presently shooting for their upcoming film untitled Imtiaz Ali film in Mumbai. The two young stars had recently shot a portion of the film in Delhi as well.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday off late has been busy with the promotions of Student of the Year 2. In the same interview with the tabloid, the actress-to-be revealed her admiration for Alia Bhatt, who had starred in the first Student of the Year (2012) along with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
“Alia’s my idol, she’s so real and so am I. She has never claimed to be perfect, perfect is boring. People have seen her grow over the last seven years and I hope they will see me grow as an actress too with every film I do,” – Ananya Panday added.
Directed by Puni Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 will hit theatres on May 10. The film has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
