Samsung Galaxy A90 5G retail box spotted in live images; key specifications tipped

Samsung Galaxy A90 has been rumoured to be in the works for a long time, and we may have received the first glimpse of the device thanks to a leaked retail box packaging that has surfaced online. The leaked image shows the Galaxy A90 5G version retail box with a picture of the device. Unlike the Galaxy A80, the Samsung Galaxy A90, which is the successor to the smartphone, is not likely to sport rotating camera setup at the top. At the moment, there’s no official word when the Galaxy A90 5G may launch in India.

The leaked retail box shows the Samsung Galaxy A90 design in full glory. The smartphone can be seen purportedly sporting an Infinity U-display at the front with slim bezels around while the back features a triple camera setup. The Samsung branding is embossed in the middle at the back panel. The leaked retail box also hints that the Galaxy A90 may sport aluminium frames. The leaked image shows the Galaxy A90 5G version which may not launch in India due to no availability or rollout of 5G network though we can expect the regular version to make a way in India.

Out of the two leaked retail box images, one shows the device from both sides while the second one lists the key specifications of the device. As per the leaked image shared on Slashleaks, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will support 5G connectivity, which is a given away thanks to the branding. It will be likely powered by an octa-core processor and may feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. The triple camera setup is likely to include a 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is said to pack a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It is said to come with 6GB of RAM and pack 128GB storage model. The retail box also lists Super Fast Charging support for the Galaxy A90 5G.

Renowned phone tipster OnLeaks had claimed that Samsung was working on the Galaxy A90 which will not come with rotating camera setup and it seems the latest leak corroborates the claim.

Samsung has been on a launching spree this year when it comes to the entry-level smartphones with its Galaxy A-series phones or the mid-Galaxy M-series phones. The South Korean company has been trying to get back the dominance it had once in smartphone segment across markets including India. Samsung is currently the second smartphone brand in India in terms of sales according to several market research firms with Xiaomi being the top phone vendor for several quarters.
