Teachers are foundation of students’ future, says CM
Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that teachers are foundation of students’ future. If the foundation is strong, then certainly the future of our students will be bright. The Chief Minister was addressing the Prantiya
Abhaar Sammelan (Thanksgiving Programme) of the Madhya Pradesh Teachers Congress at Samanvaya Bhavan.
He felicitated the outstanding teachers of the Teachers Congress on this occasion. Nath said that there has been a big transformation in the education field. The mindset of the students has changed and the methods of education have changed too. With new technology and new resources, how we can impart better education to our younger generation is a major challenge before the teachers. He further stated that it is needed today to connect the younger generation with our culture, civilization and rituals.
Along with the education, teachers should teach the students to give respect to their traditions and family. Nath said that the teachers should not confine education to bookish knowledge only. He said that if our education system is weak, we will not be able to build country’s better future. We have to stop disorientation among the youth and give them the right direction and vision. We have to develop such an education system that develops creative mindset in students. The Chief Minister said that our education should have such strength, which helps our future generation to imbibe the greatness of this country, its strength and the importance of unity in diversity.
Nath assured the teachers that the teachers related promises made in the manifesto will be fulfilled by the government.
