Realme X2 Pro India launch on Nov 20: Snapdragon 855 Plus, 90hz screen, and all we know so far
Realme is launching a new flagship phone in India on November 20. It is the Realme X2 Pro. This Realme phone is already launched in China and we believe the same version of the Realme X2 Pro is heading to the Indian market. Alongside the Realme X2 Pro, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is launching the affordable Realme 5s on November 20. Ahead of the launch Realme India has teased and revealed a lot of details about the Indian version of the Realme X2 Pro. Let’s take a quick look at the offerings of the Realme X2 Pro India model:
Realme X2 Pro specifications
–Realme X2 Pro will come with the most powerful chipset from Qualcomm right now — Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. In fact, the X2 Pro is said to be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 Plus phone yet.
–The Realme X2 Pro will come with a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. This means the display of the Realme phone will offer higher screen-to-body ratio. Realme India has also confirmed that the X2 Pro will offer 90hz display similar to the latest OnePlus phones. The China version of the Realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED Fluid display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate.
–It is confirmed that similar to the Realme X2 Pro China model the Indian version of the phone will also come with five cameras in total – four on the back and one on the front for selfies.
–The company has revealed that the Realme X2 Pro will come with a primary 64MP image sensor, secondary 13MP telephoto lens, third is an 8MP wide-angle lens and fourth is a 2MP depth sensor.
–The Realme X2 Pro will also come with 20x hybrid zoom feature.
–The China model of the Realme X2 Pro includes 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera sensor on the front for selfies. The India model of the phone may also use the same sensor. Realme is yet to provide official details about the selfie camera.
–The Realme India team has also confirmed that the Realme X2 Pro will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
–The phone is also said to come bundled with vapour cooling technology. This means that the Realme smartphone will offer a seamless gaming experience.
–The Realme X2 Pro will come with 4000mAh battery with 50W Super VOOC Flash charging technology that the company claims can charge from 0 – 100 per cent in just 35 min.
Realme X2 Pro price in India
In China the Realme X2 Pro comes in three variants. The base model of the phone comes with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage at CNY 2,699 (roughly translates to Rs 27,200). The second and third model of the Realme X2 Pro comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, respectively. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model comes at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 29,200) while the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 33,200).
The India price of the Realme X2 Pro is yet to be revealed but we expect it to be close to the China price. In other words, the Realme X2 Pro India price may start somewhere around Rs 27,000. Having said that it won’t be wrong to say that the Realme X2 Pro will compete with Redmi K20 Pro in India. The Redmi K20 Pro current sells at a starting price of Rs 25,999 in the country.
