Make every city clean and beautiful: Minister Jaivardhan Singh

Bhopal: The Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh reviewed the departmental schemes at a meeting of Chief Municipal Officers of the district in Khilchipur of Rajgarh district of his charge on Sunday. He asked the officials to make every possible effort to make all the cities clean and beautiful. The Minister for Energy Priyavarat Singh said that there should be no leniency in implementation of the schemes.
Singh said that there is no dearth of budget for development of basic amenities for the people in cities. He informed that water audit is being conducted to provide daily clean water through taps in all the cities. Singh directs to send a proposal for repair of the damaged bridge of Kalisindh River in Sarangpur at the earliest. He also directed to prepare a plan of action to make cities dust-free. Singh said that to prevent water borne diseases, it is necessary that special attention should be paid to clean the water structures of the cities. He reviewed the schemes urban body-wise in the meeting.
The Minister Duo performed bhoomi-pujan of boundary wall of Shriji Mela Ground. The boundary wall will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 71 lakh. The MLA Rajgarh Bapu Singh Tanwar, MLA Narsinghgarh Rajyavardhan Singh, Chairmen of Urban Bodies and public representatives were present at the meeting.
