HDFC Bank net banking, mobile banking app not functional yet

New Delhi: It is almost 20 hour and the problem with HDFC Bank net banking and mobile banking app still not resolved. Customers are facing a lot of issues as they are unable to access the net banking and mobile banking app of the private sector lender.

HDFC Bank in a tweet said on Monday that “due to a technical glitch, some of our customers have been having trouble logging into out NetBanking and MobileBanking App.” Although HDFC Bank has said that “some of our customers” are facing problem, customers have replied on the bank’s tweet and have said that all the HDFC Bank users are facing problems in logging on to HDFC Bank net banking and mobile app.

The bank has not yet given any timeline to resolve the “technical glitch”. “Our experts are working on it on top priority, and we’re confident we’ll be able to restore services shortly. While we deeply regret the inconvenience caused, there’s no cause for undue concern.” the bank said in reply to the customer’s tweet.

Customers trying to access net banking on HDFC Bank website are seeing the following prompt: “Dear user, The Netbanking system is busy processing heavy load from currently logged in customers, request to try after some time. Thank you for your cooperation.” There’s also a “retry” link following the prompt.

Worth mentioning here is that this is not the first time HDFC Bank customers are facing this issue. Earlier also HDFC Bank had suffered a similar outage with its mobile banking application. The company had to briefly pull the app and it was relaunched after some time. The bank had then blamed “high traffic” on servers for the outage.

Due to the non-functioning of the mobile app and net banking, HDFC Bank customers are queuing at the branch to transfer funds.
