Kareena Kapoor Khan is such a diva that she can get away with anything, even posing in a closet. The actor, who has been in and out of Mumbai of late, was with her good friend Karan Johar at his home on Thursday and the latter has shared a rather candid shot of hers.
In it, the Veere Di Wedding star continues to ‘wow’ us, even in her natural look. Dressed in a ganji and dull blue denims, her large ear loops and an infectious smile stand out. Sharing the picture as an Instagram story, Karan wrote: “When Bebo poses in my closet.”
Kareena was recently in Dubai with her girl gang which included sister Karisma and good friend Amrita Arora. Kareena also attended a promotional event there. All of them posed for the camera and looked rather stylish in them.
On the work front, Kareena will soon begin work on her two upcoming films—Karan’s directorial Takht and Akshay Kumar’s Good News, the latter being about a married couple trying for a baby. Takht is an ambitious new film, set in the Mughal era, and is said to be based on lives of Aurangzeb and his siblings —Jahanara, Roshanara and Dara Shikoh.
Kareena’s last film, Veere Di Wedding, a story of four urban Indian women who are set for a wedding and, in the process, deal with their own upheavals, went on to become a hit. It debunked the myth that a male lead star is the best bet for a box office success.
Karan, meanwhile, is always in news, even if he isn’t directing one. His latest production Dhadak, which introduced Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter to the world, went on to be a hit. His other high-profile productions include the Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty film, Simmba and Kalank, which will feature a host of big names from Bollywood including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha among others.
