Laal Singh Chaddha first poster out! Fans trend ‘Innocence of Aamir’ looking at Aamir Khan’s delightful look
A lot has been spoken, written and anticipated about Laal Singh Chaddha, the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks-starrer Forrest Gump. But after unveiling the first logo of the much-awaited film, the makers took fans by surprise on Monday morning.
The makers of Laal Singh Chaddha dropped the first look of the film on social media. Featuring an excited Aamir Khan, the first look poster is sure to pique your excitement too. Sporting a heavy beard, a pastel pink turban, and a checkered shirt, Aamir’s character looks every bit delightful. Kept on his laps is something resembling a sweet box. In the poster, Aamir is seen sitting in a train compartment.
Aamir took to social media and shared the poster with his fans. Alongside the poster, Aamir wrote, “Sat Sri Akaal ji, myself Laal…Laal Singh Chaddha.”
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead. In fact, Kareena was snapped at the Mumbai airport returning from Chandigarh with her baby Taimur Ali Khan on Sunday night. Just a few days back, the photographs of the Laal Singh Chaddha crew from their party together had gone viral.
Soon after Aamir dropped the film’s poster, many fans began to comment on how adorable and innocent the actor looks in the poster. Within no time, “Innocence of Aamir” began to trend on Twitter:
Ever since the film was announced, fans were curious to know more about the film. While it was Aamir who made the announcement, viewers were eagerly waiting to find out who would star opposite him in the film. Kareena’s casting came as a piece of good news for fans, who loved the duo’s on-screen equation in films like 3 Idiots and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within.
Both Aamir and Kareena have never shied away from heaping praise on one another and have often opened up about what it’s like to work with each other. Kareena, in fact, has often stated that even if Aamir offers her a role with lesser screen time, she would always go for it.
The film has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions’ and will be presented by Viacom 18 Studios. Laal Singh Chaddha is slated to release on Christmas 2020.
