Ritu Nanda family: All celebs who are related to the late daughter of Raj Kapoor

The Kapoor family is often regarded as the first film family of Bollywood. Every person from the family garners attention, whether or not they are part of showbiz and Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor’s daughter Ritu Nanda was no different. Earlier today, it was revealed that Ritu Nanda left for heavenly abode and the Kapoor and Nanda family have been left mourning.

Though Ritu Nanda never entered the film world, she created her own niche in the Insurance sector and even holds a Guinness Book record for her professional achievements. She got married in 1969 in the Nanda family, which only added to the twigs of her well-recognised family tree. Today, as she is no more, here’s who all are part of her family.

Ritu Nanda chose a different career path from her maternal family’s lineage and worked as the Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Ritu Nanda Insurance Services (RNIS), which later shut down. She was a recipient of the prestigious Guinness Book of Records for selling 17,000 policies in one single day. She was also awarded the Best Insurance Advisor of the Decade awards from the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the largest Insurance company in India.
