CM Mohan Yadav Visits JETRO, Invites Japanese Businesses to State
The chief minister is on a four-day visit of the East Asian nation to seek investments for the state

Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is on a mission to attract investment from Japan, focusing on sectors like medical devices, infrastructure, and railway technology. His recent visit to Tokyo was packed with strategic meetings to make the state a prime destination for Japanese businesses.
During his visit, CM Yadav had an in-depth discussion with JETRO Chairman Susumu Kataoka. He invited the organization to set up an office in Madhya Pradesh, which he calls the “heart of India.” Yadav also highlighted the upcoming ‘Global Investors Summit 2025’ as a perfect platform for Japanese companies to explore investment opportunities.
Yadav’s meetings weren’t just about business. He also visited the Senso-ji Buddhist temple, symbolizing the deep cultural ties between India and Japan, and shared Prime Minister Modi’s vision for closer cooperation between the two countries.
A key focus was the state’s 75-acre Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Park in Ujjain, which CM Yadav pitched as an ideal spot for global manufacturers. He also discussed how Japan’s advanced railway technology could benefit Madhya Pradesh’s infrastructure.
The trip also saw discussions with various investors, including a meeting with Daiki Arai, Director of A&D Medical. Yadav emphasized the state’s growing industrial sector and offered highly subsidized land in Ujjain to medical device manufacturers.
CM Yadav’s visit wasn’t just about economic talks; it was about building bridges. He met Tokyo’s Governor Yuriko Koike and extended an invitation to Japanese companies to join the ‘Global Investors Summit’ in Bhopal next month.
