ED Raids Go Sour: Dairy Firm’s Fake Lab Reports Uncovered
Enforcement Directorate has raided nine locations

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided multiple locations linked to Jay Shri Gayatri Food Products in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning, over accusations of exporting adulterated dairy products. The company allegedly used forged lab reports to sell substandard products both domestically and internationally.
The ED uncovered 63 fake lab certificates tied to exports of dairy items to 27 countries, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, and the UAE. This follows concerns raised by foreign agencies about the company’s product quality.
The raids targeted the company’s offices and production units in Morena and Sehore, with officials seizing records. This isn’t the first time Jay Shri Gayatri has faced legal trouble—six months ago, the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) raided the firm for financial irregularities. The investigation is ongoing.
