Army chief files written complaint

NEW DELHI: Gen VK Singh on Monday has filed a written complaint with CBI. The report was about the alleged bribe offer from a senior retired officer to clear ‘sub-standard’ trucks.

The CBI has examining the report and after analyzing the report it will decide on filing an FIR in the case reports Times Now. The CBI asked Gen Singh to give a detailed complaint about the issue which involved retired Lt Gen Tejinder Singh as the person who had allegedly made the offer.

It was well known that Singh claimed a bribe offer of Rs. 14 crore to clear the tranche of trucks which he also reported to defense minister A K Antony.

CBI investigation has been recommended by the ministry into the case. A criminal defamation case was filed by retired Lt Gen Tejinder Singh against Gen VK Singh.
