Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Wraps up UK Visit
The tour has resulted in securing of proposals worth Rs 60k crore

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav concluded his UK tour, announcing the receipt of investment proposals worth Rs 60,000 crores for Madhya Pradesh. The investments span across various sectors, including healthcare, industry, mining, agriculture, and services, reflecting the growing interest in the state’s potential.
- During his visit to Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), Yadav emphasized the importance of aligning research and academic studies with societal benefits. He praised the role of research in innovation and its integration into industries to better serve communities. He also discussed the strides Madhya Pradesh is making under its new education policy to empower students and prepare them for future challenges.
On his visit to Warwick University, Yadav engaged in discussions with experts, noting the university’s commitment to research that supports both industries and society. The CM highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s potential in the automotive sector and expressed plans to collaborate with WMG to offer skill development opportunities for the state’s youth. Efforts are also underway to affiliate local universities and technical institutions with WMG to foster collaboration.
Additionally, Yadav shared insights from his interaction with students from Madhya Pradesh studying in the UK, stating that Warwick University’s global diversity model could be replicated in Madhya Pradesh. He proposed establishing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between universities in the UK and Madhya Pradesh to create research centers within industrial campuses.
The CM also underscored the importance of fostering collaborative research between universities and industries. He called for self-sufficient research centers on university campuses, supported by industry partnerships, to drive innovation and practical solutions.
In a cultural note, Yadav visited the Swaminarayan Temple in London and announced plans to establish new Swaminarayan and ISKCON centers in Madhya Pradesh, enhancing the state’s temple culture and spiritual values.
The CM wrapped up his visit by reflecting on the importance of sharing global best practices for collective progress and welfare.
