French Tourist Posts Tamang Murder Video on YouTube
A French tourist has posted a video on website YouTube which purportedly shows the killing of All India Gorkha League (AIGL) chief Madan Tamang on May 21 in Darjeeling, said media reports.
The tourist, who filmed the video from his hotel window, uploaded a 2 minute 37 seconds film under the title ‘Madan Tamang meurtre (killing) Darjeeling, reports said.
The film, posted on the day of murder, shows a man in a yellow jacket with a ‘kukri’ in hand running where Tamang lay in a pool of blood, looking at him for a moment and then taking to heel, even almost colliding another man, said reports.
A comment below the video said that the man in the yellow jacket probably went back to make sure that Tamang was dead, reports said.
