IED Recovered, Defused Near Rukhsana’s House
Within a fortnight following an attack by militants at her residence, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered near Jammu brave heart Rukhsana Kausar by defence forces.
Needless to add, Rukhsana shot into limelight after she killed a Lashkar militant in September, following which the terrorist outfit was looking for a revenge.
After getting a tip off, security forces and bomb disposal squad rushed to upper Shadra-Sharief village in Thanamandi tehsil of Rajouri district last night and recovered the explosive device near Rukhsana’s house, said police.
The device was defused later.
On October 29, militants had hurled two grenades and open fired at Rukhsana’s house in Shadra-Sharief belt in the district.
Neither Rukhsana nor any member of her family was present at the house at the time of twin strikes.
