Jaswant Singh to Rejoin BJP Today

Lok Sabha MP from Darjeeling and former external affairs minister Jaswant Singh is going to rejoin the BJP today, said media reports citing a party spokesman.

Spokesman Ramnath Kovind said that Singh would be admitted into the party in the presence of senior leader LK Advani and party president Nitin Gadkari, reports said.

Jaswant Singh’s reinduction into the party fold comes 10 months after he was expelled from the BJP over his book on Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in August last year.
