Lucknow: A 15-year-old girl suffering from blood cancer was allegedly gangraped in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Media reports said that police have arrested an accused and launched a manhunt for others.
According to the information accessed so far, one of the rapists was known to the girl, and he along with his accomplice allegedly raped the minor. The duo then dumped the girl on the streets and fled away. The girl’s ordeal was far from over. She approached a neighbour for help who allegedly raped her. The incident took place on Saturday when the girl had gone out buy groceries.
According to the police, the 15-year-old girl, who is suffering from blood cancer, is a resident of Natkur village in Sarojini Nagar locality of Lucknow. Media reports said that cops arrested one accused while the two others were said to be absconding.
