Amid the uproar of Satyendar Jain’s massage video from Tihar, the BJP on Wednesday questioned new footage of the Delhi minister purportedly being served food from outside. In the video, the Delhi minister can be seen in the same cell where he was earlier seen receiving the massage. A person comes from outside and serves him food and also places the dustbin near him. Sharing the food video, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said after getting ‘champi’ from a ‘rapist’ whom they tries to pass off a physiotherapist, now another video shows Satyendar Jain being served outside food. “he is being served outside food by two attendants as if he is in a resort or restaurant and there is a variety of delicacies and dishes in front him — as if he is not there for the saza (punishment) of corruption, but maza (fun) of massage and restaurant food.
“Kejriwal must answer why Jain who has been in jail for the last 5 months is being given this facility — by keeping him in the minister post — to take ‘vasooli’ from Sukesh, ‘maalish’ from a rapist and now outside food,” Shehzad said.
The Aam Aadmi Party has not reacted to the fresh allegations.
On Tuesday, Jain submitted in court that he was not getting any privilege in jail. In fact, he was deprived of facilities like proper food and medical check-ups that he is supposed to get, he said. “I have lost 28 kg in jail. Is this what a privileged person in jail gets? I’m not even getting proper food. What privilege are they talking about? No prison rules are violated if an undertrial is pressing his hand or feet,” the minister submitted in the court through his lawyer Rahul Mehra.
“Even Ajmal Kasab got a free and fair trial,” Jain’s lawyer submitted. “I am surely not worse than that. All I seek is a fair and free trial. Please look at the kind of media reports that are running against him and that is in their interest,” Mehra added.

The BJP and the AAP are at loggerheads ahead of the Gujarat assembly election and the Delhi civic elections. Several controversies surrounding Satyendar Jain’s jail stint intensified the AAP-BJP face-off. In the series of the allegations, conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, jailed in connection with ₹200 crore money laundering case, claimed that he paid money to Satyendar Jain for “protection”.
Then the massage row hit and while the AAP claimed that the massage was physiotherapy — part of Satyendar Jain’s treatment, it has been claimed that the man who was seen giving Jain the massage is a rape accused.
