CM honours Scientist Shri Kunhikrishnan with Vigyan Pratibha Samman

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured Director and Scientist of Satish Dhavan Space Center, Sriharikota Shri P. Kunhikrishnan with 2nd Vigyan Pratibha Samman today. It may be menioned that this award is being given by M.P. Council of Science and Technology and Vigyan Bharti since 2016.

CM Shri Chouhan greeting Shri Kunhikrishnan, said that the entire country feel pride of the feat achieved in the leadership of Shri Kunhikrishnan. Science and spiritualism is one if pried deeply. He informed that Vaicharik Kumbh was organised in the state before the Simhastha and conptemplations were made on science and spiritualism. Referring to the contribution of Adi Shankracharya in cultural unity of India, Shri Chouhan mentioned that Vedanta Institute is being established in Omkareshwar based on the life and philosophy of Adi Shankracharya. He also informed about the world’s biggest river conservation people’s movement ‘Narmada Seva Yatra’.

Scientist Shri Unhikrishnan appreciated the simplicity and cordiality of the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. He also invited Shri Chouhan to attend the launching of Chandrayan 2018 expedition. It is to be highlighted that Shri Kunhikrishnan is the Mission Director ISRO which has set a world record by launching 104 satellite together .
