In the year 2020, terrorists kidnapped Territorial Army soldier Shakir Manzoor Wage in Kashmir. Five days after this incident, the family found Shakir’s clothes near the house.

This incident took place on August 2. Then 24-year-old Shakir Wagay went missing from near his home in Harman, Shopian in South Kashmir.

Shakir’s body was found a year after he was kidnapped. Shakir was posted in 162-TA in Balapur in South Kashmir. He had gone to his home on Bakrid. Along with kidnapping him, the terrorists also burnt the vehicle of the Jawan. Even after a lot of search, he could not be traced.

Shakir’s body was found in Kulgam district in September 2021, a year after his kidnapping. After investigation, the police contacted Shakir’s family. His father Manzoor Ahmed Wage had said that after identifying the body, it was found that it was my son Shakir.

Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt on the Line of Control (LoC) in Gugladhar in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The army and police killed two terrorists.

The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps said that on October 4, the army and police noticed a suspicious activity. After this, a joint operation was started.

During this, the terrorists opened fire. Two terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by the security forces. A large number of weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.

Earlier on September 28, there was an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kog-Mandali of Billawar tehsil in Kathua district. Head constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police Bashir Ahmed was killed in this. One terrorist was killed on the second day of the encounter.

An encounter also took place in Adigam Devsar area of ​​Kulgam on 28 September. In this, security forces killed two terrorists. Four army personnel and Kulgam ASP were injured in the firing.

South Kashmir DIG Javid Iqbal Mattoo told Bhaskar that both the terrorists killed in the Adigam encounter have been identified. One of them, Aqib Ahmed Shergojri, is a resident of Chadura in Budgam. The other terrorist is Umais Wani, who is a resident of Chawalgam in Kulgam. Both used to work for the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.
