82 IAS officers promoted
The promotions include the elevation of two Secretary level officials as Principal Secretaries

The Madhya Pradesh government has promoted 82 IAS officers, including two new principal secretaries: P. Narhari and Navneet Kothari, both elevated from their respective positions.
Additionally, 16 officers from the 2009 batch were promoted from additional secretary to secretary, and 29 from the 2011 batch were promoted to senior administrative positions.
The promotions were approved in a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain. Alongside these promotions, 15 IAS officers were transferred, with key changes in several departments, including the appointment of K.C. Gupta as additional chief secretary to the Governor.
In a significant development, several department secretaries, under-secretaries, and commissioners were also transferred. Notably, K.C. Gupta was assigned as additional chief secretary to the Governor, marking the first time an officer of this rank has been given such a responsibility.
According to the orders, IAS officer P. Narhari has been promoted from secretary to principal secretary. Additionally, IAS officer Navneet Kothari, from the 2001 batch, has been made principal secretary.
Moreover, 16 officers from the 2009 batch have been promoted from additional secretary to secretary, while 29 officers from the 2011 batch have been elevated from under-secretary to additional secretary with senior scale pay.
The list also includes the names of 13 district collectors from Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, 26 officers from the 2016 batch have been promoted to junior administrative grade, and 9 officers from the 2021 batch have been promoted to senior time scale positions.
