Addl CS Reviews Preparation for Khajuraho Global Investors’ Meet

Additional Chief Secretary (Commerce, Industry & Employment) Satyaprakash on Monday visited Khajuraho and reviewed the preparations for the proposed Global Investors’ Summit to be held on October 22, and 23 next, said an official release.

He inspected different hotels and held a meeting with the officers.

He inspected the arrangements for staying and supplying of food at different hotels and the place of Summit and visited Shilp Gram and office of the Tourism Development Corporation and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers.

He instructed the Chief Health and Medical Officer to arrange ambulances from October 21 to 23 and team of specialist doctors for providing better medical facilities.

The Additional Chief Secretary instructed the executive engineer of Public Works Department to ensure proper maintaining of the roads in view of the Global Investors’ Meet.

He said that the Global Investors’ Meet is not pertaining to the Industry and Tourism departments only. For its success cooperation of all departments is needed. Therefore, he said, officers of all departments should work with better inter-department cooperation and coordination to make the Meet a success.

Satyaprakash said that wide scale publicity of the Global Investors’ Meet should be ensured.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, other ministers, chief secretary, and other senior officers will attend the Meet.

He said that more than 600 participants including industrialists and investors are expected to attend the Global Investors’ Meet.

The Meet will be inaugurated on October 22 and after that the industrialists and investors will meet Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the evening.

He hoped that under the directive of the district collector, officers of different departments posted in the district will work with cooperation and coordination to make the Meet a successful one.

In view of the Meet, the officers of the Electricity Board have been directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply during October 21 to 24. He said that during the Meet, discussions will be held on seven different subjects in which the industrialists and investors will participate according to their interest.
