Ajit Jogi should disclose his caste himself: Daharia

Amid controversy over the caste of former chief minister and Janta Congress Chhattisgarh- Jogi (JCC-J) supremo Ajit Jogi, Minister for Urban Administration Shiv Kumar Daharia on Friday said Jogi should himself come forward and disclose his caste.

Daharia in a press conference held here at Congress’s state headquarters Rajiv Bhawan further asserted that Jogi is neither Satnami (Scheduled Caste) nor a Tribal.

Daharia further hailed the decision of Bhupesh Baghel government to hike reservation of SCs and Other Backward Class (OBCs) as per population and termed BJP’s opposition to the move as “anti-reservation” stand.

The Urban Administration Minister also announced on this occasion naming the LIC road in Pandri locality after former PCC chief Late Nand Kumar Patel.
