Bhopal: Debate on any issue, says Digvijay Singh to Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Congress candidate from Bhopal Digvijay Singh has thrown down the gauntlet to former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for a debate on any issue. After Singh has been fielded from Bhopal, rumours are doing the rounds that Chouhan may enter into the ring. “Chouhan is afraid of me so he keeps off a debate with me,” said Singh in an interview with a news channel in New Delhi.

“It’s national election and will be fought on the basis of report card of the BJP government. Modi’s mis-governance is the major issue,” Singh said. He added that unemployment, growth rate, education, recovery of black money would be major issues in the elections”.

He alleged that in 1985, the BJP was in crisis and they lifted issue of Ram temple and since then the party is misleading the people. The BJP had earned both money and vote (Note our vote)”. He alleged that “BJP had demolished temple and Ram Lala is in tent.” He claimed that “Congress is neither a weak party nor it lacks strength.
