Bhopal: ‘Jailed Rampal followers will support Digvijaya Singh
BHOPAL: : Followers of jailed spiritual guru Sant Rampal will support Congress candidate from Bhopal Digvijaya Singh, said AP Singh, Supreme Court lawyer and follower of Sant Rampal, on Monday during media interaction. Singh said that Khattar government in Haryana had inflicted many wrongs on thousands of followers of Sant Rampal. They were fired upon by the police, dragged to jails and 950 followers were booked for sedition.
“Digvijaya Singh has then came out in our support and assured us of all help,” Singh said, adding that Sant Rampal has thousands of followers in Madhya Pradesh and hundreds in Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency. They all will be supporting Digvijaya Singh. “BJP candidate Pragya Thakur is still facing terror cases. Courts have taken decision not to let her go scot free after due deliberations and after seeing evidences and documents,” he added.
