BJP protests a complete failure: Cong

The Congress said on Monday that the      demonstrations by the BJP in Chhattisgarh against curbs on protests was a political drama and dubbed it a “complete  failure”.

PCC Chairman (Communication Wing) Sushil Anand Shukla said in a statement that the BJP’s   political adamancy had led to traffic jam and inconvenienced people for hours.

It is now clear that the BJP doesn’t have any issue to whip up, he said.

It was ridiculous that the BJP demonstrated for increasing the protest limit at Budha Talab protest site to 500       persons but failed to gather that number to court arrest, he said.

Only 100-150 activists courted arrest in other districts, he said.
