BJP recalls contribution of late Arun Jaitely
A condolence meeting to pay tribute to the former union finance and defence minister Arun Jaitely was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party at its Divisional Office, Ekatma Parisar, capital city, Raipur on Monday. Arun Jaitely had passed away on August 24.
BJP state president Vikram Usendi recalling Jaitely’s contribution said he had an able organizational skill and was a great intellectual due to which he played a key role in party policy making.
Raipur MP Sunil Soni said Jaitely emerged as a student’s leader to mainstream politics cutting a mark of his won. He would always be remembered for building one of core areas of nation.
Former agriculture minister and Raipur city South MLA Brijmohan Agrawal said even in tough conditions, he pulled together along all states to implement, one tax one nation concept of GST.
Former ministers, BJP frontal organization office bearers and key organizational leaders expressed their views recalling the different aspects and personal traits of late Arun Jaitely. They also recalled his contribution for the party at different levels.
